2nd Bi-Annual Meeting and Orientation of VIVAT Philippines NET

We had our 2nd Bi-Annual Meeting and Orientation of VIVAT Philippines National Executive Team (NET) last Tuesday, August 23. We started sharing our personal reflections and experiences with regards to VIVAT Philippines participation in the 2022 Voluntary National Reviews and High-Level Political Forum of the United Nations on Sustainable Development and our experiences in the grassroots level. In addition, we assigned the NET officers to be the screening committee for the background check for the new members before they are to be presented to the NBODs for acceptance. And lastly, we mentioned some specific project that we can promote for 2023.

VIVAT INTERNATIONAL Philippines National Executive Team (NET) Officers' Meeting

National Executive Team (NET) had our first face to face meeting in Novaliches. In our sharing we have observed that there is a need to have an orientation about who we are, considering that the majority of the members are new to VIVAT and to know the changes in the international level Ad Experimentum 2022 to 2027. There was a majority presence of the JPIC coordinators and Social Action people-in-charge and at same time, we invited the members of the National Board of Directors.

Our last JCoR SDG Lab Involvement

Our last JCoR SDG Lab session dedicated to SDG 15 and 5 of us presented our grassroots activities namely; Efrain Vasques Mamani of the Claretians in Sri Lanka, Catharina Indirastuti of the Congregation of Our Lady of Charity of the Good Shepherd in Indonesia, Fr. Joseph Zoa Alima and Fr. Ezequiel Kateve Sabino Patesi for the Claretians in Sao Tome and Principe, Djédjé Luc Dioro for the Claretians in Cote d'Ivoire and myself for the Society of the Divine Word Philippines (SVD PHC).

VIVAT Philippines NBOD 1st Bi-annual Meeting

Last Wednesday was the first meeting of the new set of National Board of the Directors (NBOD) as indicated by the Amendment on the NBOD Composition. The modification is to have all provincial and regional superiors of the Founding, Member and Associate Congregations, is to be part of the NBOD and in addition the three NET officers after being elected by the National Executive Team and approved by National BOD.
